Always Be Reading
A quiet place to track what you read, log your sessions, and build a reading habit — for books and articles alike.
What you can do
-
1
Track books & articles
Add books by title or paste any URL — metadata and a reader-friendly version of the article are saved automatically.
-
2
Log reading sessions
Start a timer, log the pages you covered, and write notes in Markdown. Sessions are saved to your reading history.
-
3
Search everything
Full-text search across titles, article content, and your session notes — so the things you wrote always stay findable.
-
4
Build a streak
Stats on your dashboard show minutes read today and this week. Earn badges for milestones like your first 30-minute session or a 5-day streak.
-
5
Share your shelf
Make your profile public and get a link you can share — your reading list, stats, and badges, all in one place.
Why we built it
Reading is one of those habits that's easy to intend and hard to sustain. Most tracking tools are either too heavy (Goodreads) or don't handle articles at all. This is a lightweight alternative — no social feed, no star ratings, no noise. Just you and what you're reading.
Getting started
- 1. Create an account and set your timezone in Profile so daily stats are accurate.
- 2. Add a book or paste a URL from your dashboard.
- 3. When you sit down to read, hit Start on the timer and log the session when you're done.
- 4. Use the notes field to capture anything worth remembering — it's all searchable later.
